by Bobby Casey, Managing Director, Global Wealth Protection

embassyToday’s discussion will be about my recent visit to the local US embassy to renew my passport.  But first, I want to address an email I received on Tuesday as it is quite entertaining and I think you may enjoy.

Warning, I will offend many of you with this email and it has little or nothing to do with asset protection.  Read on at your own risk.

From a Spineless Coward who uses anonymous email:

Bobby, everyone knows you are an anarchist, so do you really think we are going to trust you since you don’t believe in any absolute morals or a God to judge you by them? I know you would feel nothing about lying to me then stealing all my family’s life savings. I just can’t trust you, and you know why, because you think trust is a construct based upon no absolute morality that anyone has to obey or respect when it is more convenient to disobey for one’s self interest instead.

This is definitely one of my all-time favorite emails.  First of all, the spineless coward uses an anonymous email service that does not permit a reply.  Secondly, the weasel is too ignorant to use any type of privacy software (like Cryptohippie) to anonymize his location so I know he is in Brea, California in the 92821 zip code.  And finally, he presumes to know me and makes assumptions about my life, my beliefs, and my own morals.

So let me address this masked coward point by point.

Yes, I am an anarchist at heart.  I think there is no need to be ruled by a government in today’s world.  I am not a fan of slavery and theft of any type and when you are forced at the point of a gun to submit to a ruler then pay for that privilege (tax), you are nothing more than a whipped serf.

Strange to hear someone speak of absolute morals and then relate it to a god.  I am certain this will cause a mass of people to hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom, but my viewpoint is that god was constructed by man as a way to answer the unanswerable questions, however it has been used for centuries as a tool to exert power over the weak-minded masses.

I certainly respect anyone’s right to worship a god as they see fit.  If this is what brings you peace and a connection to community, good for you.  As for me, I don’t need this and I expect the same courtesy of respect.  Like any good anarchist, I leave you alone, you leave me alone.

But anyone who has ever read the Bible (I have) or history books will recognize that more pain and suffering have been caused in the name of a god than for any other reason.  The old testament is filled with violent scripture like;

Genesis 22:2 – The God said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah.  Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.”

Exodus 21: 15-17 – Anyone who attacks his father or his mother must be put to death.  Anyone who kidnaps another and either sells him or still has him when he is caught must be put to death.  Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.

Exodus 21:  23-25 – But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.

Or in Numbers where Moses was ordered by God to avenge Israel and destroy the Midianites culminating in acceptable rape of all the women:  Numbers 31:  18 – But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

So for the god-fearing spineless coward who emailed me, I say unto you, “Feel free to worship a god that not only accepts violent behavior, but encourages it.  I prefer the anarchist route, where freedom and peaceful human interaction is respected.”

And in response to his assertion that I will certainly steal his money, I would like to assume he is just ignorant, but in reality I now see he is actually just stupid.  My firm provides a variety of services, none of which involve your life savings or investments.

Our core business is asset protection planning which involves creating the proper structures for your asset holdings.  We actually don’t touch your money with the exception of the fees we are paid.  And even the fees can be paid via credit card so if you don’t get what you expect you can always dispute the charge.

Additionally we are hosting the upcoming offshore anti-conference; Global Escape Hatch – Panama 2012, where you will learn from an A-list panel of experts about asset protection, offshore banking, offshore companies, 2nd passports, internet privacy and more.  Here again, you can pay with a credit card and we even have a 100% satisfaction guarantee even if you attend the event and feel you didn’t get your money’s worth.

We operate in a free-market where our clients pay us money for services rendered.  If they don’t get what they bargain for, they don’t pay.  Period.

His presumption is that anarchy is bad.  That is likely because he is too stupid to understand anything beyond what is heard on CNN, Fox News or his parasitic preacher.

If he was capable of reading history or had the intellect to understand economics, the coward would realize the most efficient method for managing a society is free-market economics and the most peaceful and prosperous time in US history was the early 19th century in the western part of the country.

Just to clarify once more, I have no problem with someone who believes in a god.  I do take issue with anonymous cowards who lob vicious personal attacks suggesting I have anything but the highest moral standards.  Just because he worships an unseen god does not grant him moral superiority over those of us that don’t feel the need to bow at the feet of a master.

Recent trip to the local US embassy for passport renewal.

Earlier this week I had to go to the local US embassy to renew my slave card (as Jeff Berwick likes to call it).  My passport actually has a few more years left before it expires, but I am now completely out of visa pages in the back so it is easier to get another 10 year extension on my slavery to the state than just add pages.

(For those of you that don’t believe your passport is a slave card, read the fine print.  ‘Your’ passport is not yours at all, but property of the government giving you the privilege of travel as provided by the state.)

First of all, an appointment was necessary.  Which I found especially odd considering when I arrived at the embassy there was no one else there but me.  Just a foreshadowing of the exertion of control I suppose.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a very large man with an angry face who interrogated me for about 5 minutes to confirm that I was, in fact, an American citizen.  For those of you that know me and have talked to me, you would know my southern accent couldn’t be anything other than American.

I also found it interesting that my interrogator was of foreign decent, and yet has been tasked with grilling those roughneck Americans seeking nefarious services like passport renewal or notary services  After my interrogation, I was forced to give them my cell phone as this was strictly forbidden inside the embassy grounds.  I can only assume they wanted to make sure you weren’t too distracted to enjoy the propaganda TV playing in the waiting room.

Once inside, the wastefulness of the US government became apparent.  Here in a country of less than 2M people lies a US embassy constructed at a cost of 10’s of millions of taxpayer dollars and employing over 400 workers.  400!!!!

You must be kidding me.  Keep in mind these 400 people are fully supported by the US state department with salaries that average around double the US private sector wage, paid private school for their kids, free healthcare, and in some cases even free housing.  Ahhh, statism at its finest…

During my 30 minute wait for the consular interview I was subjected to propaganda TV on a continuous loop.  First I heard an interview from a man who claimed his grandfather came across the ocean decades ago from Portugal seeking freedom, opportunity and a better way of life.

Next I watched a video about how cutting edge the university is in east Philadelphia and how American ingenuity is changing the world with green technology.  The next story was about a guy who runs a fireworks manufacturing company and the entire segment background was 4th of July fireworks shows with hopeful children watching and pointing in the sky.

And during every break the national anthem was playing.  It was truly surreal sitting in the consular office waiting room listening to propaganda TV.  It was strangely similar to seeing the propaganda flyers, radio programs and TV shows from communist China and Soviet Russia.  Truly frightening.

If you are reading this today, you are clearly not of the sheeple mindset prevalent in the world today, however there are a great many of you still sitting on the fence, fearful of taking the plunge of internationalization.
