where's the truthEvery so often tyranny rears its ugly head.

Like a weed, it always seems to find a way through the cracks of the sidewalk.  In places we never would have thought.

But at what point do we call it tyranny?  When the people are stripped of their rights?  When they are detained without cause?  And what kind of person would we call a tyrant?

In dealing with the amount of people I have, I have noticed that the majority are good, well-meaning, and decent people.  These people have the best of intentions and are very sincere.  But you and I both know the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and…

Sincerity Is Not A Test Of Truth

Yes, you can be both sincere and wrong!

Look how sincere Stalin was.  Look how sincere Hitler was.  As wrong as they were – they believed it with all of their heart!  And because they were so sincere they were able to convince people to commit very destructive acts.

The only real test of truth is truth.  But where has the truth been lately?  It seems to be hiding amongst everyone’s propaganda.

Unfortunately, you can’t trust any news source to have any sort of integrity.  It’s like the study that showed chocolate is good for you… conducted by The Hershey Company.  I hate to be the guy with tinfoil hat – but it all seems a bit suspicious these days.

President Obama is very sincere about taking guns away from the people – he has made that clear.  But is it right?

Right or wrong, we are certainly hearing the sincerity on both sides of the argument.  Call me a pessimist, but…

All Weapons Will Be Banned Sooner Or Later

As a martial arts history buff, I know this isn’t the first time it’s happened.

Hell – most martial arts came out of the necessity to defend one-self without weapons (or at least improvising with tools that were readily available).  The question at that time was, “when armed men come to your door looking to rob you blind, how do you best defend yourself with what you have?”

Frankly, it might be time to ask that question again.

A guy might say “why would I learn how to defend myself, I’ll probably never use it”

I have been training for more than 20 years.  Not once have I ever had to use my skills in a street fight.  But, I would argue that it’s because of my skills I’ve never had to use it, not in spite of.

So the question I have for you is…

What Tools Do You Need To Defend Yourself?

You may never use a second passport.  You may never need to access emergency funds in an offshore bank account.  You may never be sued for everything you own (although the statistics are against you on that one).

But you learn to defend yourself in the hopes you will never have to use it.  Just like I don’t venture down every dark alley looking for a fight with some thugs, I hope you don’t open an offshore bank account to take on the IRS.

What we are truly after here – is safety and security.  The knowledge that – no matter what happens – you will have enough money to take care of your family, the protection to keep them safe, and the freedom to travel to a peaceful location if yours becomes violent.

We like to call it creating your own escape hatch.  And if you haven’t been living under a rock, you know that our next Global Escape Hatch conference is March 6-10th in Ambergris Caye, Belize where we have 16 of the world’s top experts coming in to teach you how to do just that.

I would highly recommend learning the skills you will need for our uncertain future.  And that’s why I would highly recommend coming to learn from the experts at Global Escape Hatch.
